2005 13 Jan Aunt Jean and Uncle Joe Bongiorno visit Rik Appleyard with Ed Rik served with Ed’s Grandfather when he was KIA 14 Jan Aunt Jean and Uncle Joe come for dinner! 30 Jan Imperial War Museum, London 3-14 Feb Ed goes back to Owego to help on A-10 16 Feb Mom Gleis Arrives 18 Feb A day in Portsmouth with Mom 20 Feb A day in London, including the London Eye 26 Feb Mom Gleis leaves 01 Mar Mom Balunas and cousin Joanne arrive 3-5 Mar Mom, Joanne and Ed go to Paris—Chapel of the Miraculous Medal, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, good eats… 17 Mar Ed goes to Edinburgh—tries Haggis and single malt 25 Mar Stonehenge! 26 Mar Alec and Ed go to Fort Nelson—watch a Howitzer live fire! 30 Mar Steph and the boys head for Long Island for a visit 1-3 Apr Ed goes to Germany to sample castles and beer 07 Apr Ed decides to finally do laundry and water the plants 08 Apr Steph and the boys return. Ed in doghouse for dead & dying plants. 22 Apr Gayle Simonds Visits 23 Apr A day in London with Gayle, Derek and Heather 27 Apr Gayle leaves 04 May Ed goes to Belgium 13 May Ed goes to Edinburgh for more scotch and haggis 24-25 May System Design Review on Merlin CSP is a big success… whew! 31 May-2 Jun Ed goes to Paris again… ho hum… Le Fin Gourmet on Ile St Louis Is Highly recommended…. ;) 04 Jun Day trip to Weymouth—Putt Putt, Go-Kart racing, potato sack slide, Really bad hamburgers. Great beach town—can’t wait to come back
